image upload failure

    I used to upload images without any problem, and one day this function just stopped working. The images do upload, but the picture does not show up anywhere, neither in the admin panes nor in the actual post. It seems like the image is there but does not display anywhere. I read through many forum posts, and other people seem to have similar issues, but I was not able to find a solution that fixes it. I really need help on this one.

    Check the uploads path in Settings/Media.

    That was it! There was a strange folder listed in there and I changed it back to the wordpress default, and now the images show up just fine. Thanks a lot lot for your help.
