    Hi all,

    I have inserted an image to a page on my site which has no sidebar. The image in 900px across as is the width of the no-sidebar template I'm using I tried adjusting widths in the CSS but I can't figure out what the problem is. It's as if the image refuses to go any wider than 570px (the width of the content when the sidebar is present.)

    Does anyone here have any ideas on how I could fix this?

    Regards

    I have already changed the CSS to:

    .entry img {
    	max-width: 900px;
    }

    and I still have the problem.

    Which image is squashed?

    All the content on the page is one image. That's the one that is squashed.

    Where did you make that CSS change, that max-width CSS change you posted earlier?

    I changed it in the Visual Editor Stylesheet.

    Download (and install) this Custom CSS Manager plugin. Then use its section of the dashboard to hold your CSS modification instead.

    The div class "entry" has a max width of 600px for the entry image class, so you need to change that which is in your style.css line 362.

    .entry img {
    max-width: 600px;
    }

    If you don't override that css class, your image will never be larger then that.

    I changed the following to 900px:

    }
    .wp-caption img {
    	border: 0 none;
    	margin: 0;
    	max-width: 900px;
    	padding: 0;
    }

    ...and it worked! Thanks for all the help guys! :)
