[resolved] Image Size Limit For Featured Content? (10 posts)

    Anybody know if there's an image size limit for featured content? I'm using 2592 x 1936 (iPhone snapshots un-resized) and, while the featured content titles show, the images do not.

    Thanks!

    Post thumbnails are set to 672 by 372 cropped so any size above those figures should work fine.

    There doesn't seem to be any images attached to the featured posts viewing on a PC - if you untag them do they appear in the feed with featured images attached?

    Featured images work best with images that are least 1038 pixels wide.

    @Placeholder,
    You should set Featured images in your Posts.

    @Lance Willett,
    it seems that all the larger images from 672 by 372 are cut off (cropped). Tested using default Template with right sidebar.

    You guys nailed it: for whatever reason, I wasn't making the connection that featured content needed featured images on those posts. Thanks for the help!

    You're welcome!

    @wpfo That's intentional, because if you didn't crop to the correct size the images would bleed out of their containers.

    Great theme! I only have a problem with featured images in my site http://www.gianlucaorlandi.it/ - the size of the images is reduced. Anyone who could help me?

    @Lance Willett,
    Why not to size it proportionally to container width (only if it is bigger then container width)?

    Because the design would suffer from variable heights.
