image set to left of blog excerpts

Hi,

On my blog page, the featured image is currently showing above the blog heading and excerpt of each blog post.

(I’m using Hemingway theme)

1) I’d like the image to be to the left of each of these (it’s currently on top of the heading.

2) I’d also like to set the image size so it’s always the same e.g. 250×250 – can this be done by default?

And if poss…do you know how to sort this?!
3) the heading text sometimes runs into the next line – which is fine, but it’s cutting the words in half – instead of putting the whole word on the next line.
