   I now have a large number of images uploaded onto my server through WordPress. I often use the same images over and over again but I have to click the next button lots of times when browsing images to find them.

   Is there a plguin that will allow me to search for the images by keyword which will search the alt text and file name?

   I changed the code somewhat on WordPress 2.2 (file wp-admin/upload-functions.php) to support this but I haven't created any plugin. My opinion on this is that such a feature should be included in the standard version of WordPress.

   yeah I am surprised no-one has any details on plugins or anything for this.
