Anyone know why they would stop rotating?
where is the blog?
where are the images supposed to be displayed?
what plugin are you using to accomplish it?
Blog is http://wallingfordwired.com
Images are supposed to be displayed in media box in upper right corner of all pages.
I’m using the default rotator that came with WP, which worked fine with the sample images before I uploaded my own images.
I have now deleted my images, uploaded the sample images, and still they do not rotate. Let me know if you need any more info, and thanks!
Also, if i should be using a plug-in to rotate the images, can you recommend a good one? Thanks again!
I might be missing something but wordpress doesnt come with a ‘default image rotater’.
perhaps youre confusing something inside that theme youre using with something available inside wordpress?
.. and what exactly do you mean by rotate. I refresh the page and see a different image, at the very least.
Sorry, I’m new with WordPress so I may misspeak at times. I meant the rotator in the theme I’m using, Thesis. When I first installed it, there were 5 sample images in the rotator folder that displayed one after another as you watched on the page. After I uploaded my images to the same folder, they no longer rotated, only one shows at any one time, unless you do as you did and refresh the page. What is supposed to happen is as you watch the images, they should cycle through every image in the folder on a regular basis.
Perhaps I should be posting this in the forum of the theme I’m using instead of WordPress’s forum.
all of that makes more sense. 🙂
thats a paid for theme, right? I would be posting over there, yes, (also), if thats the case.
Yes, I paid for it. I have now posted something on that forum as well. Thanks for your patience with this WP n00B!
The thing you refer to as a “rotator” is a part of your theme ..
Please post your question here :
