Image Resizing Issue

I am working on a site called: http://www.protoyou.com. I am having issues whenever I display an image anyone on the site (for example the slider or as a featured image within a post).

At first I thought this to be a resolution problem so I changed the resolution allowance within the Media Settings to a large amount (10,000) and I am still having issues. The images I put on the site seem to zoomed in on – for a better idea of what I’m talking about check out the homepage of the site. I have tried multiple solutions but have had no success. I am not sure if this is a common problem but I fear that I may have to do something with the code. I am very new to WordPress and have never worked with it before. If anyone knows how to help with solving this issue I would be very appreciative! Thanks in advance!
