[resolved] Image Pages Don't Have Correct Background (5 posts)

    I'm using a WP theme called jQ. It didn't come with a separate image.php file, and I like that functionality, so I just copied the image.php from the Kubrick theme into the jQ directory, and it seemed to work. The only thing is that it doesn't seem to use the correct background. It's hard to explain, but you can see here:

    Versus here, where it's correct:

    I've scoured a bunch of the code and I can't seem to quite figure out what's missing or how to fix it. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks!

    If you mean the top banner, I am seeing it on both, but it is entirely too short compared to the width of the content area.

    I am not seeing

    <div id="content" class="clearfix">

    I believe that should put that white background for your content area back up.

    Okay, that kind of fixed it, but the white part still doesn't go down far enough and the text underneath the photos runs into the sidebar. Did I put it in the wrong place?

    Thank you for your quick response!!!

    What I suggest is looking at the templates of both of those, your index.php and page.php, and then making sure your formats are similar up to the point you add the content of your post. I noticed a lot of different code from one to the other and for editing / organizational purposes, you want to make sure your templates are easy to edit.

    Your content division layer, if you see in your index.php file is right above:

    <div id="right">

    So, that other code I pointed out must be above the "right" division layer must be there.

    Thanks Blondishnet! I toyed around with the location of some of the divs and it started working. I appreciate your help!
