    Take a look at the markup for one of these images. Does it have a width set?

    Example:

    <img src="your-image.jpg" width=XXX />

    If so, remove the width parameter. Since it's a local install, use pastebin.com to show us the source of a buggered page.

    One by one, but that's not a huge width... so try it with one first and make sure that's even the problem. It might not be.

    <img src="http://localhost/RAW/wp-content/uploads/2011/06/wordament-wordpress-header-w-burst2.jpg?w=300" border="0" alt="""/>

    this is the markup.
