I tried searching the forums to no avail, but I was wondering if anyone knew of a plug in for an Image of the Day function? Something that would allow a small portion of the front page to display a thumbnail hyperlinked to the larger version of the photo. The photos would rotate on some sort of timer (daily, hourly etc.), and would be pulled from a particular image folder.
Anything like that out there?

I have spent time trying to find one as well. Doesn't seem to be anything available.
What about random image plugin? Wouldn't that suffice?

This looks very promising! Will need to wait until Mr. Smith gets the rewrite completed so that it will work with version 2 of WordPress.
