Hello, my current blog is located here:

    http://ladyleopardess.com/llcom-news/

I currently want to have the page look like this:

    http://ladyleopardess.com/home.shtml
(note: some graphics not quite work safe on this page)

The top menu is an SSI Image Map. For consistancy reasons, I would rather not change that since I might have to change it for other sections of my website. Everything is in a table for now but i hope to have everything in my wordpress page including the news on the left, the picture of the month in the middle and the external links to other pages of mine on the right.

    How might I obtain this?

The solution is to design/code a theme that looks like your existing page.
    Info: http://codex.wordpress.org/Blog_Design_and_Layout
    http://codex.wordpress.org/Theme_Development
...and ALL the pages linked from these Codex pages.
