My site was recently stricken with a virus. To get rid of it, I have:
- Deleted and reinstalled all themes and plugins
- Changed all passwords
- Modified the security keycodes
I am hoping it is gone, but I still need to review individual files to make sure.
When I looked at the site afterward, all the featured thumbnails are broken, but regular images are fine. I have tried the AJAX Thumbnail Rebuilder plugin, hoping that would help, and I have checked that the files are in fact still hosted in the position they should be on the site.
Things that could be important:
- I am using Elegant Themes' "Feather".
- When I switched over to Elegant Themes' "Lean Biz", the same problem occurred.
- This is a multisite install, and the subdomains labradordental.ca and mksdental.com are not affected.
- I tested removing the Featured Image from a page and putting it back, but that didn't help.
My apologies if there is already a solution posted somewhere. I have been unable to find it despite hours of searching. :( Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
