• i can’t understand this…
    in the default theme i need the complete link in order for the image to show.
    but
    with other theme all i need is this only…

    <img src=’/wp-content/google_jesus.jpg’ alt=’Sand Dune Jesus’ />

    and the image shows up. whats going on?

  • First of all, avoid dumping images in your wp-content folder. Try using a wp-images or images folder for all your images. It can be under the wp-content or in it’s own folder.

    Second, are you looking for the image in your Preview of your Write Post Admin panel or on your site’s web pages? The second link should work IF you have wp-content in your root directory.

    i used the WP built in upload function and after uploading WP says thats the link that i can use for posting…so i just copy paste that 🙁
