    I want to set up a website to display a lot of images – certainly many hundreds and quite likely over a thousand.

    I used to use FrontPage but changed to Serif WebPlus X2 and started uploading flash photo galleries. I soon found that WebPlus X2 ground to a halt and could not handle large numbers of flash photo galleries.

    I have been looking around for an alternative and someone suggested WordPress. Can it handle large numbers of photo galleries or will it also suffer from the same problem as WebPlus X2?
