    Hi Stefan,

I've been searching a long time for a plugin like this!
    Unfortunately, the image doesn't slide...
I've installed the plugin as a widget in my footer area:

    Please help... Thanks in advance,

    Groetjes, Ilse

    Hi Ilse,

The slideshow won't slide the images because the theme's stylesheet disables the slide's 'float: left;' value.

Line 1701 of the style.css file in your theme says 'clear: both;', deleting this line will fix the slideshow.

    Groeten,
    Stefan

    Hi Stefan,

Many thanks for your quick reply!

How can I find line 1701?
(de style.css file van mijn thema is een kladblok, zonder regelnummers..)

    Hi Ilse,

Notepad has a search function (open it by pressing ctrl+f). You can then search for 'ul.footer_list li ul, ul.footer_list li div' (without the quotes) and you'll be brought to the right CSS class immediately. Remember to put the writing cursor (the blinking line) at the top of the file before searching, not at the bottom.

    Groeten,
    Stefan

    Hi,

Your problem is probably caused by the same kind of CSS. Could I have a look at your website, please?

    Best regards,
    Stefan

I have tried your website in most browsers, but they all display the slideshow just fine, were you able to resolve the problem yourself?

    Hi,

The problem is actually caused by Safari itself. The URL to two of your three images contains the special character: 'é'. Because of safety measures, Safari doesn't allow these characters in URLs and you should avoid using any of those. ('á', 'ó', 'ç', andsoforth.)

I'll try to see if I can find a solution to this, in the mean time it's probably best if you rename your images so they don't have any special characters anymore.

    Best regards,
    Stefan

    Stefan,

Only one picture shows up. It will flash like it is advancing to the next one, but then shows up again. Is there something I am doing wrong?

    Thanks,
    Sean

    Hi Sean,

It sounds like either the 'clear: both;' value is defined in your stylesheet, or your stylesheet contains a line that says: 'div { max-width: 100%'

If you can't find anything like this, I might be able to see what's wrong when you provide the address to the page in question.

    Best regards,
    Stefan

    Hi Sean,

Could you please tell me what browser you're using? I've checked IE 7-9, Firefox, Chrome and Safari, but all worked just fine.

    Best regards,
    Stefan
