Image added to sidebar appears in centre column
-
Hi, I am trying to insert an image into the left column of my site but it appears in the centre instead. You can see what I mean with the technorati link here http://www.helengraves.co.uk
Any ideas why this might happen? Thanks.

Are you talking about the bean salad image? Site looks ok in IE7 and FF.
Hi, thanks for replying. I use FF and the site looks fine, it is just that the technorati link is supposed to be in the left sidebar, not in the centre column. When I try to add buttons, badges etc to the left sidebar they jump up to the top of the centre column. I am missing something with the html but I don’t know what it is.
For that problem this div

needs to be after the technorati.
You have quite a few code problems that could be cleared up by validating.
Ah I see, thank you. I will remember this when I try to add other buttons in. I quite like the technorati button up there you see. Thanks also for the tip about my incompetent html. I just need to find the time to correct it now!
There is one last thing if you wouldn’t mind helping me out again?
When I add in new buttons to the sidebar now, they appear right next to each other, there is no space between them at all which doesn’t look great. How do I get a gap between each one?
Your help is greatly appreciated.
If you are using a text widget to insert them you can put a non-breaking space between each
Thanks again for your help. I tried it and it worked although I have probably cowboyed it (or cowgirled ;-)). It’s a steep learning curve this website business. Now I just need to sort out the rest of my dodgy code!
Thanks again, much appreciated.
The space was for horizontal. For verticle use a
