   I have basic HTML and CSS skills but because I only build 1 or 2 sites a year, I forget what I'd previously learned and putting even the most simple of sites together takes more time than I can afford to charge for; and usually turns out looking clunky and amateurish. So I decided to make my last 2 sites using WordPress.

   Actually, I outsourced a significant portion of the work as I ran out of time and so even my understanding of WordPress is in it's infancy.

   I'm looking for a relatively quick, but standards compliant method of putting my site together and I'm drawn to the PlatformPro framework by Pagelines.

   Can anyone give me some feedback on using frameworks. Are they a good starting point for a beginner? And can anyone back up my initial attraction to PlatformPro?

   My worry is that all the sites I put together might end up looking similar, unless this is something I can work around.

   Theme Frameworks are generally not a good starting point for beginners.

   There are a few posts here in the Forum, that discuss/link to discussions regarding comparing/contrasting various Theme Frameworks. I would highly recommend searching for them, and doing a bit of research.

   Thank you for the advice. I will try and learn more about themes and how to make them myself.

   Can anyone tell me if it's possible to remove 'posted in / comments off' from the home page. I'd like this to be a stand alone landing page before going into the articles.
