    hello all. I’m posting to ask opinions or recommendations on a planned ‘ask an expert’ page.

    I run a beauty blog featuring experts on specific topics. I’d like to make a page where visitors can ask questions which the experts can then pick from to answer. The experts will make posts answering these questions every week.

    • How do I make a page where people just ask questions? It would also be nice if it can be guarded by Akismet.
    • If a question is answered, how can this question be linked to an answer?

      I’m quite new to this. Many thanks to anyone who can help.

    I’m not aware of any WP plugin to do exactly what you want but an alternative would be to dump a contact form on your “ask an expert” page. The question will then be sent via email and some time afterwards you would post the question and your answer as one post.

    Nice and simple. Of course this may not be practical for you if you expect hundreds of questions per day, for instance.

    I can recommend WP-ContactForm by Ryan Duff.

    thanks so much. Like you said it was nice and simple. Not exactly what it was made for but it does the trick. this issue is resolved.
