   Can anyone help me figure out to stop 50 random spamming comments that show up on an assorted amount of my videos and photographs?
   I figured out how to delete these and mark as spam but is there a way to prevent this?

   Activate Akismet and install http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/cookies-for-comments/

   Akismet is free for non-commercial sites and the Cookies For Comments plugin is free for any site. Captchas, on the other hand, don't work.

   I uploaded it but then it asked me for a key which costs $5/month.
   Where do I find the free version?

   If you are running a non-commercial site, just register an account (just an account - not a blog) on wordpress.com to obtain your free API key.
