  • Hi,

Is this in WordPress admin or on the front-end of the site?

Are you submitting an event, then using the back button to go back to the form and then re-submitting the form?

front end of the site, through the standard Events entry form
    Here is the page:

As for using the back button, I am not sure what most of our users are using, but several have stated that they were having issues lately.

When I try, I have success about 40% of the time

hmm, not sure about this error since I didn’t experience this before but can I know if you are using multisite, buddypress or normal wp installation?

also, could it be because you are using google api instead of wordpress default jquery library ?

It is normal install, and single site, no buddypress.
I did change the permissions on the visitors posting to see if it will help.

I did install google jquery library, but did not think about that being a problem.

Looks like you’re using WP Super Cache – I think the problem is that you need to deactivate caching for that page. You can do that from the Advanced tab of the Super Cache settings page.

I don’t use the Super Cache plugin, though another plugin may have the same affect.

Here is what I have installed (if it helps)

Then it’s the plugin called wp-cache – same idea, you need to stop it caching your submission form.

    Thank you Sir!!

    I added an exception string
not to see if it works!

    hi again,

you already tried disabling plugins but is it possible to try deactivating all other plugins and leaving only EM activated? also, can I know what is your current EM version?

Excluding the event submission page from my cache (W3 Total Cache) fixed this problem for me.
