IE8 top bar menu problem

Hi, sheldonng. I’d suggest reading up on the IE shiv or shim (it’s called both). Here’s a link that includes the code and instructions:

Here’s a line from that second webpage. Does this seem to apply?

Internet Explorer 6-8 pose a problem as they do not recognize unknown elements…

There must be a solution somewhere. If you view http://demo.alxmedia.se/hueman/ in IE8, it does not have this problem. 🙁

according to http://theie8countdown.com/ it’s still 10% users (we all hate IE8, nice it’s % falling pretty fast 🙂

not quite correct, as I look Alex demo from IE8 + WinXP, just for a 0.5 sec or so it’s also distorted (vertical menu) and then it becomes normal (I see it at each refresh, 10/1 connection, maybe you have faster connection so you don’t see that moment 🙂
Some Alex’s magic, but working only on his demo?
I also gave up almost with “ghost chase”, but really frustrating 🙁
