Hi I have been busy creating an updated website using your Tiga theme which has been going really well, really pretty and flexible.

Until that is I happened to see it in IE8... A lot of the layout has changed and the footer widget areas seem to not work well.

Is it my install that has gone strange or does the theme not support IE8? I do need to look at this as my stats show 20% of visits using that browser!

    Any help appreciated.

By dev site can be seen here:

Test to see whether the same issues occur on the theme's demo site.

Thanks Andrew, The demo site didn't really help as it has no navigation or widget areas in use (i'm sure it used to)

I have since tested the theme in another WordPress install on a different host and get the same results so I assume the theme is not fully compatable with IE8.

Does not look un-fixable but the site is due to go live on Friday and I hadn't accounted for the extra dev time. :-s

    Hello Andy,

If you don't mind, please submit the issue to github https://github.com/satrya/tiga/issues

I'm a bit busy last two weeks, I'll update all the issues soon.

Thanks, also thanks to @Andrew for helping :)

Thanks Satrya, I have given a more detailed description on github.

Thanks for creating this great theme, look forward to seeing any updates in the future.

If anyone else is struggling with IE8 try adding the script from modernizr (http://modernizr.com) as most of the layout based issues are coming from IE8 not recognising the HTML5
