IE8 Sidebar Inconsistances. Caused by PIE? (2 posts)

    Hi All,

I'm massively stumped by a really odd bug and any help would be appreciated.

I have a site at http://www.berrystreetstudio.com everything works as expected in Safari, Firefox, Chrome and IE9 however in IE8 and lower the sidebar is behaving erratically.

In IE8 on the homepage http://www.berrystreetstudio.com the sidebar displays as it should (the same as in 'good' browsers - I'm using pie.htc to provide the css3 rounded corners) however if you navigate to ANY other page the sidebar is messed up, PIE seems to have no effect and there are various other formatting errors.

I've tried several fixes but with no luck, I'm not even 100% sure what's causing the error (is it PIE?), I can't understand how it can work on one page but not the other!

If anyone can shed some light on this you'll be a lifesaver.

Start by sorting out the markup errors. Then move onto the CSS errors.
If you continue to have problems with IE, consider conditional comment CSS
