ie8 margin issue

    Hi, I’m having a problem with IE8. Besides blowing up one of my widgets, it is adding a large white space above my unordered lists (here is a screen shot: http://vivaskate.com/wp-content/themes/squared/images/ie8.png ).

    Google tells me that I should change display:inline; to display:inline-block; but this hasn’t had an effect for me, so I’ve changed it back. I’m having this issue in two areas of my site, where large white spaces are added above unordered lists. Has anyone else encountered this issue? My site is http://www.vivaskate.com

    By the way I’m just assuming this is an issue with the margin, I’m not actually sure what is causing the problem. Also google seems to have said adding float:left; would fix this problem, but also no effect.
