   It all starts with writing valid code. IE is kinda picky, so please check your xhtml and css.

   I understand that, but I'm sorta looking for what code I should implement to fix this issue.

   You should fix the current code, before implementing new one.

   There are some errors that need attention. In 99% of the cases fixes these kind of errors will take away floating issues in IE.
