Are you using the latest version or Ditty News Ticker (1.1.9)? If not, please update to the latest version.
Can you provide a link to your site for me to check out? I’m not seeing the streaking on the Ditty News Ticker site, but I do know there was that issue in older versions of the plugin before I adjusted the scrolling technique.

Having the same issue. A think blue streaking line similar to what was posted here: http://instago.co/textIssue.jpg
However, this is happening on Safari on Mac. Seems to be fine in Mac Chrome, and Firefox Chrome.
Any solutions?
Scratch my latest post. I typed in more words and the “streaking” seems to have disappeared.
Seem’s to work fine on Safari Mac as long as you type in more than a few words. I.E – simply typing in “Test” shows the streak.
Great plugin by the way! Easy to use and simple and clean!!!
I have several words in each string of text that scrolls and still have the issue in IE.
It’s great in Firefox, Chrome and Safari. IE looks terrible though.

I agree, metaphorcreations’ plugin is awesome, just need to see if we can get this issue fixed in IE.
Does the streaking change if you increase/decrease the scroll speed?
I do not see the streaking in any browser on my mac or pc, so it’s going to be a little difficult resolving this, but I’m going to try.
I’ll probably set up some samples for testing with different animation techniques and you’ll have to let me know if you see any changes. Keep an eye on this thread for updates.

I just tested different scrolling speeds and the streaking still shows up.
What about if I can send you admin access to my test site, that way you can mess around with it and see it firsthand?

I am having the same problem! I’ve got WP 3.6, v 1.1.9 of Ditty and tested only in Chrome.

Do you guys see the same streaking on dittynewsticker.com? For any of the scrolling tickers.
I’ve got the same problem, but only appears when at the end of one element I’ve got a letter like a t r v (I’ve not tried with every letters)

I would say it’s definitely depend on the theme, not other plugins being incompatible with one another. I just again tested it with zero plugins activated, but the main theme I showed you and the streaking is present in IE.
If it can be narrowed down to the themes (which seems logical right now after my and your testing), could we trouble shoot and see if the problem can be located?
We know it works on your website: dittynewsticker.com and it works with wordpress default themes.
We also know that scrolling speeds don’t change the streaking (I tested this).
Is it possible that the theme’s js code is clashing in random browsers?
Have you had a chance to experiment with different scrolling options as you mentioned? Any luck there at all? If you want to email me a different plugin version and have me test it out, or you’d like to go to that test site you have access to, I’m all for it. Anything to help everyone out with this.

Could you direct me to one of the themes that has the issues? I’ll get it and do some testing to figure out where the issue is stemming from… I’m thinking the themes may be overriding the default jQuery install, possibly.
I haven’t had a chance to test the different scrolling options yet. I have 3 major project deadlines this month, so I haven’t had much time. But, I will definitely be working on it when I can. I want to make sure everything works as smoothly as possible for all sites.
