Progress. That means the call works. Now where the heck has that image gone?

Must be a filepath thing. Image firefox png is in wp-images. I have just added / to the url.
Still nothing.
Do you maybe need a semi-colon in there? Like:
a:before {content:url(‘/wp-images/firefox.png’); }

Tried it. The syntax does not require it anyway. Thanks. I will have another go tomorrow. This is an xhtml issue.

Bump. Ready now? There should be a FF logo before every story title when viewed in IE only.
IE6 here. Nothing, even with ctrl-f5
Something IS there, as the mouse turns into a link when I hover the space and the title alters colour, but no image.
Missing a ; ?
{content: url(‘firefox.png’) }
Odd…. still nothing, and the space doesn’t link.

Just reading the php in index I see that the title is being called twice. The permalink is a different call from the visible storytitle. Somewhere the image is muddled up in the php call but podz you have given me a valuable clue. I am going to do a simple test of the basic model.

Just trying a new thing. Can anyone on IE see those really neat FF logos now?
Still no I’m afraid.
The post title turns bright pink when hovered, and the gap is there, but even a ctrl-f5 show no image. No effect when the gap is hovered either if that helps.
Still nothing here. Yeah, no hover on the gap today. Yesterday hovering the gap caused the storytitle hover still.
