    On the following site/pages:

    http://www.nevisblog.com/?p=95 The title in IE 6.0 shows up first, then the blog name, THEN the title of the post shows up AGAIN. Obviously a bit redundant. Not sure what is casuing this, and not sure which file to make the changes in.

    Also instad of having the url be http://www.nevisblog.com/?p=95 I would prefer to have the post title be in there instead of ?p=95 I would appreciate any direction or plugin suggestions that may help.

    Yes I have looked around. I am using WP 2.03 and TIGA theme 1.01

    Hope I made myself clear

    Thanks

    Well something went wrong.....now it's really screwed up. I am not very good at PHP. Isn't there just a line of code that I can paste in the correct file to make it work?

    its right there on the first link:

    <title>
    <?php wp_title(' '); ?>
    <?php if(wp_title(' ', false)) { echo '--'; } ?>
    <?php bloginfo('name'); ?>
    </title>

    inside header.php

    you dont have to be good at php to copy and paste.

    Thanks whooami, now I just need what file to past this into. Style.php, header.php, style .css ?

    Thanks whooami, that first title bit you gave me did the trick when I pasted it into the header.php file. Very much appreciated. Now if I can just get the url's to read the title instead of the ?p=95 naming convention I would be sorted. I tried goping into changing the permalink structure and using a custom structure such as this

    http://www.nevisblog.com/%postname%/

    but that scrambles everything. What could be casuing this?

    Read the Permalinks page a little more carefully. May I suggest chosing "Date and name based" just to get your feet wet and see how that works?
