[resolved] IE Image border with Google Maps Widget (4 posts)

    Good morning. Brilliant plugin.
    Small issue.
    When viewed in IE10 I am getting a blue border around the image (see http://dunleer.ie). I can manually adjust this for images I upload but as the image for the map is generated by the widget.
    I tried a 'Remove Image Borders' plugin but that hasn't worked.
    Any help much appreciated.

    Unfortunately the link you provided doesn't work. However 99% that the issue is CSS related. Either the theme or some other plugin are styling the border. GMW does not include any CSS.

    Hi,
    Hmmmm. Not sure why that link hasn't worked?

    http://dunleer.ie/ is correct.

    Anyhoo.......whilst waiting for a reply I applied a css fix to my child theme

    img{
    border:none;
    }

    and this worked fine.

    Yeah I think it is just an IE thing rather than the theme or another plugin. The images were showing without border on all browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Opera, etc. )except for IE.
    Thanks again,

    That's the only viable fix ... nothing "better" than that.
