[resolved] IE bug (7 posts)

I am running a current version of WP and and older version (the one before). My older version is just fine, no problems. My new version was also running just fine until I decided to reassign it to a different folder. I closed down the old database, opened a new database, and as long as I don't try to write a post, I can move around inside all the admin places.

Each time I have tried to write a post, (there isn't one there yet) I get an IE error saying it has to shut down and do I want a report sent. You know which error dialogue box I mean?

Has anyone ever seen something like this, and or any ideas as to what I can do to rectify it.

My older version blog is at: digitalgladrags.com/blog
and the newer version is at: digitalgladrags.com/journal.

sounds like more of an IE/your computer problem than a WordPress problem... have you tried working on it in any other browser, like firefox? (http://www.getfirefox.com)

That's just the thing, I just put up a post similar to the one above in my regular blog using IE and it worked just fine. The version I'm complaining about also worked just fine in IE when it was in a different folder. I'll try firefox, ... I have it installed ....

    is your latest version 2.0.3?
there might be a plugin that could help - though it's a stretch - http://markjaquith.wordpress.com/2006/06/01/wordpress-203-bug-are-you-sure-dialog-when-editing-comments/

FireFox let me post an entry. That sucks so much because I don't like FireFox. :(

Guess I should install the new IE beta ... see if it works.

    Thank you ladydelaluna :)
