• Hi…I am just getting my site up and running and while everything has gone reasonably ok, as I test it I find I have a problem with Internet Explorer (on the Mac at least), making some lines of text on the sidebar double-spaced (the first three are single-spaced as they should be) when they should all be single-spaced. Works fine in Safari, just get this anomaly in IE.

    The site is http://www.lookingfordarwin.com

    Any help gratefully accepted! Thanks…

  • You need to put that paragraph (“This is a blog about the making of the book…”) inside between and <li> tag and an </li> tag. I’m not sure that will solve it, but it’s the only error I see.

Thanks for the suggestion, but that did not work: in fact IE formatting became even more messed up with those tags included.

If anyone else has any suggestions, I’ll gladdly try them…Thanks.

    may be
but your html tags aren’t correct
style your ul and li in the style.css
and your img tag between a ul and li
it isn’t correct html to write text after an ul without a li tag

your troubles are in the style.css not the tags

Thanks Monika for the suggestion. However, I have discovered that everything is fine under IE Win and even when I run different Themes in IE Mac I get the same issues…so seems like it might be a bug with the latter…which is not such a big deal given that relatively few Mac users use IE, whereas it would have been an issue if the problems had persisted under the Win version.

Anyway…I appreciate the help…I’m a newbie at this and this forum rocks!
