   When using the wysiwyg editor in wp 3.1.1 and trying to add a link the pop up does not open in IE 9. When i switch IE to compatibility mode it works.

   It does not happen when i use firefox 4

   It might have to do with using simple tags plugin, as i seem to remember (not 100% sure) that the problem only appeared after installing that.

   Any suggestions someone?

   It works fine in IE9 for me. And no, I'm not using the simple tags plugin.

   after inserting my wordpress in the secure sites it works

   Is your IE9 controlled by a corporate GPO? My IE9 works surprisingly nice.
