Identical Pages (20 posts)

I have a question about my pages:

I have my illustration website on WP. I have a few pages, but the problem is with my portfolio pages. I have 1 for my color portfolio and one for my B&W portfolio. However, when I publish the B&W page, it's identical to the color. Each has a separate gallery, but the B&W images don't show up.

How can I create a page that is identical in layout, but that has different images??

    My site is http://www.debmeyercreative.com

Please help. I just mailed promotional postcards, and I really need to be able to show off my B&W illustrations too.

I think you have a larger problem,

Your site is not loading at all for me.

That's odd. It loads just fine from here. Maybe it's just slow??

It just loaded for me. I was getting an error generated by your theme. Do you have another page named "bw"?

    I have a page labeled B&W

Your portfolio link points back to your homepage. The B&W link points to bw-2. The "-2" part usually means it is the second revision. That is probably where your conflict lies.

I deleted the first B&W page because it had the same issues with the color images. I thought if I just deleted the page and started over with it, I could get it to work.

The page is resolving to /bw now. Look at that page in the admin and make sure it has the right content on it.

I just went in and deleted the -2, that's why it's now bw.

    Yep,

Check the content on the BW page and make sure it is the content you want.

the B&W image gallery for the page is exactly what I want on there. However, the published page still has the images from the color page and no black & white images.

What is the permalink (shown underneath the title) say? Do you have any caching?

    http://debmeyercreative.com/bw

I don't know about the caching.

It seems to me, that you have the wrong photos loaded on that page. WordPress at this point is working correctly.

Maybe it's a Headway issue then, because I don't get it. The gallery for that page has the correct images. Something is making it go to the gallery of portfolio images instead.

Without being able to login to your admin panel, I doubt I can be of more help.

    Just a thought,

    Maybe I misread this.

I just went in and deleted the -2, that's why it's now bw.

Did you delete the page from WordPress or the "-2" from the permalink?

I originally deleted the whole page last month and restarted. Maybe that's how the -2 came into play. Today I deleted just the -2 from the permalink.

I think it might be an issue with the photospace plugin.

Here is what I would do,

Create an entirely new page for your black and white images and give it a new name. Publish the page and hit the view page button. If you see the correct photos, it was a url rewrite conflict. Make sure you give the new page a unique title.
