Idea for Plugin, WordPress as Twitter (Show More Posts) instead of pages?

Hi,

I though it would be brilliant with a plugin to convert “next page” function into something that twitter has now (show more posts) which loads through some ajax script and fetch more content, so the user can just keep scrolling down and the experience gets more fluent, instead of having to click to a new page.

Not sure how it would do with the search engines, could make some background static html sitemap for search engines to find the content and index it if necessary?

I though it would be cool, maybe it’s already out there, but incase not, someone with the skills, go ahead, it will be popular!
