Icons displaying as bulleted list

I tried installing the plugin last night, but the icons displayed as a bulleted list, as you can see in this screenshot. I’m hoping you can give me some pointers where to look for the cause of the problem. jQuery is up to date as far as I can see.

The plugin looks fantastic, and I’d love to get it working.
