• This plugin already allows to upload/assign an image icon to any menu item. With WordPress 3.8 moving away from image icons in favor of icon font, is it possible that this plugin supports assigning an icon (from an icon font) to menu items? I’m not sure if you will have to include a library (such as Font Awesome) for this to work, but I do hope that there is an easy way to do it.

Are you looking for more icon options in general, or the ability to upload/link your own icon font? I’m already planning to add more icons from the new “dashicons” font that WP 3.8 introduced, but letting people upload new fonts could be pretty complicated.

Yeah, I figured letting people upload their own icon fonts wouldn’t be as easy. Choosing from the default Dashicons would be a good idea, however, I believe the options (icon selection) will still be limited though.

Yes, Dashicons doesn’t have nearly as many icons as something like Font Awesome. On the other hand, adding Font Awesome would mean having a huge dropdown list with 360+ options, which might be confusing to some users.
