All right, this is a really nit-picky issue, but it bugs the heck out of me that when I use the search on the wordpress.org site, the first three results are (a) ads and (b) formatted to look exactly like the search results on WordPress.org.
I see people searching for something and click on a sponsored link, and getting even more confused. Is there any reason why these ads aren't more distinctive?

The 3 ads look like ads to me plus it says "google ads" above them and there's a line separating them from the search results. Perhaps I don't understand your issue?
A reason the ads are not more distinctive? To make money perhaps?
WordPress isn't making a red-cent off those ads.
The reason they're not distinctive is cause Google's Google :/ We HAD a better search, but Yahoo turned it off, so the fast patch was to switch to Google. A better solution is being looked into and yes, we're all annoyed by this :/
