    Hey guys,

I have a Video Site, selling Movies and Series via Season Passes, Pay-per-View and also via Subscription.

I’ve been using S2Member Pro so far, and just found out about your Plugin.

    1. The features I valued in S2Member Pro were the custom capabilities (I need a seperate user-level per movie to sell them pay-per-view, instead of just a tier-based level 1-4). The Levels need to expire over time. For what I understand, it is possible with Paid Membership Pro… right?

The interesting Part about Paid Membership Pro is the integration with WooCommerce. Now can I do the following:

    2. WooCommerce has a plugin for german payment gateways. Does this mean, that once PMPro is integrated with WooCommerce, it will be possible to use any payment gateway that WooCommerce uses to pay for membership levels in PMPro? I just need WooCommerce to tell PMPro that a Level has been bought, so a hidden part of the page becomes visible (if(pmpro_hasMembershipLevel('movieXYZ')){...). This would be truly awesome.

    3. I need people to be able to pay a monthly fee to post blog articles to a specified category. Can I make those articles inaccessable to the general public once the author canceled his subscription?

I’m looking forward to the responses.

    1.
i just red that expiring one-time-payments are not supported.
neither is it possible for the same customer to have multiple levels? this seems very odd.

    2.
for what i understood reading the forums, i could make it work like that. there are few workarounds that need to be done though.

    3.
i guess you could hook an action that updates a custom field in every post by the author when he cancels his subscription. your theme would have to check if this custom field has been voided or not.

so all in all, i think, i will need to wait for another major release.
i need multiple levels per user and i need them to expire automaticaly.

    :((

keep up the good work, i hope you’ll add these functions soon.

Hello. Thank you for considering Paid Memberships Pro. Currently, you can have onetime payment memberships expire, but as you noted a member can only have a single level. However, we’ve been hard at work extending Paid Memberships Pro to support multiple membership levels. Currently, the plan is to have it ready this month.

Also, could you tell us where you read that one time payments do not support expiry? We would like to know so we can update the information. Thanks again.

Yes, we’re trying really hard to get it out this month!
About the membership expiration – every membership level supports expiration and custom expiration dates can even be set with the PMPro Expiration Dates addon (http://www.paidmembershipspro.com/add-ons/code-gists/pmpro-expiration-date/)

    Hope that clears things up!
