   I would like to have an image on my blog that will link to the single post,
   but when the user arrives to the single post, I do not want them to see the image from the blog anymore.

   My goal is in creating a video theatre so when a viewer clicks, the single post contains the video ready to play using the vpip plug in without the main image getting in the way.

   Summing up, I want the image that is on the blog not to show up in the Single post.

   You need to write some PHP code to do that. Fairly simple. Its 3am and I am too tired to think of code. Could probably search google and get exactly what you need.
