I want to change my theme with one that uses a specific framework

    Someone else built my site originally. I’d like to change my theme to a theme that uses a framework called Genesis. Can I just download the new theme and Genesis framework over whatever my current site is using?

    Can you elaborate as to what you mean? Are you saying you want to use Genesis as the framework for your current theme? or that you downloaded a theme that is bases/built upon the Genesis framework?

    Hello Jose,

    Thank you for responding. Because someone else built my site, I don’t know what my current framework is.

    What I would like to do is purchase and download a theme that uses the Geneses framework. Since I don’t know what framework my site uses now, I was wondering if I could just download and install the Geneses framework and theme over whatever is there?
