Hello,
I recently moved my wordpress script to a sub-domain (called: /blog) but then I could not access the site? So I decided to just install wordpress manually into a sub-domain and when I was all set I went to do that final step which was activating it. But then I receive an error message -
"Already Installed
You appear to have already installed WordPress. To reinstall please clear your old database tables first."
I DO NOT WANT TO DELETE MY OLD DB! I HAVE OVER 7,000 POST!
Is there any suggestions? Thank you!
Best Regards,
Joe

When you moved it the first time, you should have gone into the database and changed "siteurl" and "home" in the options table to the new address. There is a tutorial on this site that explains how to move it safely...
Read and follow steps

Btw, back up your database and files :-)
Thanks you two! I really, really, really, really! (lol) appreciate the help! I had to move the files back to the root then I followed your instructions and it worked like a charm :)
