   Hello, I've been searching the Internet for hours, without a lot of luck.

   Basically, I like the "Recent Comments" section of the WordPress 2.7 dashboard. I would like something very similar in my sidebar. It would seem that since this is built into the dashboard, a separate plugin would not be needed. Does anyone know how to get this working?

   I want the commentor's gravatar (able to set the size), the comment, and a link to the comment.

   Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

   Personally, I use a plugin: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/get-recent-comments/

   It does exactly what you've specified above, plus more.
