    is the widget output showing in the html code in the browser?

    does your site have valid html code: http://codex.wordpress.org/Validating_a_Website

    can you post a link to your site to illustrate the problem?

    This is my link but I have no idea how to see if the html code is there. Where would I find that? Sorry. the sidebar widgets are fine, it’s just the footer. I have it set up for tag cloud and the blog roll, but nothing shows.

    Thank you

    the ‘giveaway scout’ textwidget content seems to be missing a > at the end;

    this is the code in the widget:

    <div id = "giveawayWidget"></div><script type="text/javascript" src = "http://www.giveawayscout.com/badge/js/"></script

    yes, that is the last working code in yout site – therfore the error is just after or at the end of it.

    have you changed it?

    this is how the code at the end in the last working textwidget should look like:

    </script>

    btw:
    the footer widget code is all in the browser; the browser just stops displaying it because of the unclosed script tag.
