    Hi,

If anyone can help, I would be greatly appreciative.

I recently transferred my site from one domain to another, on the same host. I followed the directions on http://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_The_Site_URL.

However, now I cannot my WordPress site! Specifically when I type in dennisnmath.com, I get my homepage, but when I try to navigate to the different pages, such as dennisnmath.com/mission or dennisnmath.com/services, there is no page there. But in my site, the pages do exist!

Can anybody guide me as to how the page might appear in my dashboard but not exist on the site? Did I miss something when transferring domains?

Thank you VERY much for any help!
    Robert

Install this plugin http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/search-and-replace/ and search for and replace the old URL with new URL.

Then update and/or change your permalinks by visiting Administration > Settings > Permalinks and clicking on Save Changes.

    Hi,

I’m sorry, but this did not work. I used the plug-in, but there were no URLs that needed to be replaced.

I believe there must be something I am missing in the database.

This is maddening! In my dashboard, this page exists:

    dennisnmath.com/mission

But when I go to the URL, there is no page to be found!

I had transferred it from robert-test.freehostia.com

Any guidance on what else I need to change?

    Thank you very much!
    Robert

Make sure your Blog and WordPress addresses in Settings -> General are correct.

If you have an .htaccess file, delete it and then switch to the Default permalinks in Settings->Permalinks.

    Michael,

Thank you very much for pointing me in the right direction. It turned out my permalink was pointing to my old site rather than my new one. When I changed it to my new site, it worked!

    I really appreciate your help.

    Robert
