    I’d start with changing your WordPress and database passwords and see what happens. Also, check your user list – anything there with contributor and up status you don’t recognize?

    No. That was one of the first things I checked. 5 subscribers and 1 Administrator (me).

    Irt, changing my db and wp passwords….at the risk of sounding stupid, I can do that from within my dashboard?

    Your wordpress password you can change in the user area. Your database password you can change using cpanel (assuming you’re on shared hosting) but you also need to update your wp-config.php – otherwise you’ll get a database error.

    I’d change your own wordpress passwords first. See if that remedies the issue. I am assuming these posts show up under your name?

    My name doesn’t appear in my posts or the others.

    I’ve changed my db password. checking codex to update wp-config.php

    I understand that I need to update my wp-config.php and I know how to do that, but how do I find the file?
