I Seek a Tutorial for Maintaining Podcasts, Please

Hello.

I discovered Word Press in a book I found at the local library, entitled The Absolute Beginner’s Guide to Podcasting.

I know practically nothing about podcasts, so you can consider me a novice/newbie. However, I’m very experienced at creating audio MP3 files, and maintaining web sites.

Anyway…I’d like to know if I can maintain podcasting on the Word Press site I created.

What concerns me the most is RSS, which I know absolutely, positively NOTHING about at all. I’m reading about it, but I’d like to know if Word Press can handle my podcasting needs.

Will it create an .rss file automatically for my mp3 podcasts, or do I need separate tools for that?

Is there a tutorial for podcasting with Word Press? If so, can you point me in its direction?
