    Please can someone help me.

I have created at website at
    http://poetrywivenhoe.org

I have a static home page. My blog page is entitled future events. In the sidebar, under future events, are the titles of two posts. One is current, and one is out of date. I would like to have only the first post show in this link.
I have added a plugin to limit the amount of posts showing on the blog itself, but it does not seem to limit the links to older posts. I would like all my older posts to be linked via the archives, as they will no longer be future events…if you see what I mean.

    Thanks for any help.

    Sarah

    Hello everyone,
I am sure there is an easy answer to this one, but I really can’t figure it out.
It is possible I have not made my problem clear, but if that is so, please can someone let me know.
I REALLY need to sort this one out, as I have a client asking my to remove the older post from the sidebar.

    Thanks for your help

Well I managed to resolve this. I used the sidebar widgets. I am mentioning this in case anyone else has the same question.
