I downloaded WordPress through wordpress.org and I have Dreamhost as the host for the site. How do I possibly get access to move files, I am really confused? I need to move the htaccess file from wp-content/plugins/wp-dbmanager, to /home/(my username)/(my website)/wp-content/backup-db, but cannot figure out how to do it. I probably need to download the files to my computer. Please advise, thank you!

Try an FTP client (contact your hosting provider for your FTP login details).
