I would like to make a custom navigation tool bar

HOME NYC LA SF OTHERS ABOUT US

In the online tutorial the person shows the category section and it has numerous options to check off, from SPorts, music, politics, etc...

    1) I do not have any of these options, I only see the option Uncategorized
    2) The other issue is if I do somehow get the additional options can I make my own names for the navigation bar?

I do not know any type of coding by the way so I am assuming something is wrong with my computer?

    ANY help would be appreciated!

    :)

You can add your own categories and call them whatever you want. No coding required. Look for Manage Categories on the admin interface.

You can make your own menus with your own names. Appearance -> Menus.

There's nothing wrong with your computer. You just need to take some time to explore the admin interface.

Thanks for replying. I wish it was that simple but actually the web tutorial and video tutorial both noted going to appearance > menus > then you create and save your Main Navigation Toolbar name > then you go to the category section and it give you options for many different categories you would like to choose form.

    I only have 1. Uncategorized

    The tabs under categories are
most used - view all - search

and non have any additional options.

This is the video they gave and their dashboard is not the same as mine and I bought my theme from them.

Mine is missing the category options.
