Hi, I need to log into my clients wordpress website. I have a username and password but when I try to log in I get a HTTP 500 internal server error. I also tried to log in under the wp-login.php method, but that does not work either. What am I doing wrong?

Try checking the site's error logs for a more specific error message. Your host should be able to help you in accessing your site's error logs.

The website belongs to a client I am trying to help. Do I check with my host or does my client need to check with his website host?

The problem was resolved with the clients webserver
